July 8, 2023 Half Marathon/Relay/Walk Day of Event

We strongly encourage you to pick up your packet during this time. You may claim a friends packet with showing a copy of their ID. Volunteers and pacers can check in also at this time and receive their assignments.

Shuttles start 5am, last shuttle has to leave 6:15 am.  Pick up is at Lake Geneva Middle School (600 N Bloomfield Rd, Lake Geneva, WI 53147) and will take you to Big Foot High School (401 Devils Lane Walworth).  Spectators are welcome to join at the start line or even drive you there.  **The shuttles do not return to the finish line.  If you leave a car at Big Foot you are on your own to get back**

Half Marathon and Relay start 7 am

2.2 Mile starts 8:00 am (out and back from the Finish line, no need to go on the shuttle)

Course closes 10 am for all events


Relay: BOTH runners ride the shuttle to the start line.  A shuttle will take 2nd runner to relay location (Reek Elementary W4094 South Lakeshore Dr, Lake Geneva), same shuttle will bring first runner to finish line.

Saturday, July 8 Post Party 8:30 am-11am: Immanuel Lutheran Church.  Besides the traditional post race snacks and drinks, Lake Geneva Country Meats will be featuring their foods and bringing the beer.  Each participant will be receive 1 set meal from LGCM and beer.  Their items will also be for sale if you wish to purchase more and for spectators.


Participants (run, relay, and walk) will be given silicon wristbands to claim their LGCM free meal.  Just simply turn in the wristband to claim.  You will also be given a wristband stating if you are or are not over 21 years of age to claim your beer.  Please keep this wristband on at all times during the post party.


Volunteers will receive their wristbands once they complete their job assignment and properly check out

Take a small bag with you to the start line.  Label it with your BIB number! And hand it over to our gear check table.  It will be waiting for you at the finish line.

Our half marathon is chip timed with a gun start by Trackside Timing.   


Relay runners; we do not need to know who is running first or second.  The relay will be timed using the old school velcro chip, the first runner will have to hand off the velcro chip to the second runner.


2.2 Mile are chipped time as well!

Finisher medals for all half marathoners, relay teams, and walkers.

Featuring overall male and female custom plaques

Male and female age group awards starting at age 15 going up in increments of 5 years for the top 3

All relay teams are in a open division, top 3 teams will receive an extra medal stating place

Overall average times for male and female will be awarded with a bonus gift!


There is no award ceremony.  Results and awards will be ready starting 10am at the post party.  **Average finish time awards might not be ready day of, you will be contacted to claim your award

Oct 07, 2023 Poker FUN Run/Walk Day of Events

Runners/Joggers/Walkers

-Bib pick up will be begin 10am at DJ's In The Drink (W3860 LakeShore Drive Lake Geneva)

-The bar will be open but not the kitchen

-Course opens 11am

-Bib pick up ends at 12pm

-You may start your adventure any time between 11am and 12pm (no one will be allowed to start after 12pm)

-Your bib must be turned in at DJ's In The Drink lakefront by 3pm!

-There are 2 courses to choose from.  You pick when you register.  If you have a group be sure everyone picks the same course.

-**Please walk/run on the LEFT side of the road at all times***

Volunteers!

-Please check in between 10 and 10:30am at DJ's In The Drink. 

-You pick your assignment when you sign up

-Your t-shirt will be handed out when you check in

-Please dress appropriately. 

Post Party

At DJ's In The Drink.  Food and tap beer till 4pm

Winners

-Top 3 Poker hands will be announced no later than 4pm.  Winner need not be present to win, but will be contacted and will have a week to claim their prize 

Other FUN Facts

-You may pop into the bars along the route and purchase a drink in between card stops, just watch your time to make sure you are back by 3pm

-NO ALCOHOL ON THE COURSE, volunteers will be watching and enforcing.  If caught you could be DQ, if caught by a cop you could be ticketed
